Arborist Frogging it

I noticed that he was also using an additional ascender attached to his foot. Does anyone use the frog in this manner, and do you feel it improves upon the original design?

I find it difficult to climb like that as there is no chest roller holding you vertical to the rope. short distances are OK though.

I saw that he had a chest ascender (croll) but I did not see him attach it. So he only had one attachment point on the rope (the foot ascender doesn't count for safety purposes). Looks unsafe and inefficient for long pitches.
He was pretty fast though...
