Horizontal Trip: Swirl Canyon Sunday, June 14
John Law and I are leading a trip to Swirl Canyon on Sunday, June 14. We will leave from the Shoney’s at Bell Road and I-24 at 8:30 A.M. Come earlier if you want to eat. (John Law will be the key master. haha!)
Swirl Canyon is a horizontal cave. We usually like to go to the back of the cave which involves sloshing through ankle deep water, crawling, squeezing, and a little climbing. You will need a minimum of a helmet and 3 sources of light to go on the trip. Please bring a change of clothes for after the cave. To prevent the spread of White Nose Syndrome, we ask that participants wear only new or decontaminated gear and clothing.
