December 20 vertical trip in AL

I found this seemingly virgin pit. Here is a short video of it.

We are going to check it out Sunday. I am looking for anyone else interested in joining us.
I placed my video camera on a rope and lowered it 38 ft. It is at least that deep. At the top it is tight for about 15 ft. then seems to open up. There are indications of possible canyon passage or maybe it is just a flute of the pit. If it doesn't go we may ridgewalk or do some other pits.

No one missed anything "big". Stephen Brewer dropped it. It was 45 ft. and 10 ft. long at the bottom. It was so tight with his rappel rack and harness that he had a hard time getting out again.
We did some ridgewalking. We found a qualifier with air. I found a 35 ft. pit. We have another pit with air to dig open near the last 2.
