February 2021 Meeting - Caves of Grand Canyon National Park

Please join us for our monthly meeting February 4 at 7:00PM. Jason Ballensky will present on Double Bopper Cave. It’s the longest cave in Arizona and the 11th longest cave in the United States. It is located in a remote part of Grand Canyon National Park. Double Bopper contains incredible gypsum formations and many well-preserved animals. I will talk about how we access the area and the cave’s many unique features. I will also give a brief history of the exploration efforts and our plans for the future.
